How We Help You Find the Best Community for Your Senior

How We Help Tabs - CarePatrol - panel1

It all begins with a simple phone call. Why is this call so important?

Choosing a safer senior housing option, unfortunately, cannot be made by appearance alone. What is most important is something that really can’t be seen. It is "Can this community really care for your senior?" That's why CarePatrol's advisors complete a "Care Discovery" and base our recommendations on care options that can specifically meet your individual needs and preferences.

Guided Tour of Communities

We believe in private & personalized tours. We literally walk you through the steps. You will never get a list from us and be told to “go visit them alone, or on your own.” After we’ve matched your individualized needs to safer care options in your area, we will accompany you on a tour of each one of them. Or, we will provide a virtual tour if that works better for you. You are never alone because we will be your personal care guide from start to finish.

Full Care Details & Transparent Pricing

We insist on transparency with pricing & services. We don’t like surprises either. How to pay for care is always a concern and a valid question of our clients. Another important question relates to what services are provided in a specific care option. We can help alleviate these concerns. We will inform you of private, Veterans, or other government programs that you may be eligible for.

Moving Day & Transition Support

We work with the community so you can focus on your loved one. Leave the administrative work to us. Change can be hard, especially for Seniors. We make sure everything is in order so on moving day, everybody’s attention can be on making the transition as smooth as possible. Ensuring your questions are answered and you continue to feel good about your decision is as important as getting your senior settled in to a new environment.

Continuing Care Assessments

Personalized support that is really personalized. How can you trust an advisor with quotas? A Senior Advisor with "quotas" is something that you will never find at CarePatrol. The only “quota” we demand is satisfied families. Your advisor will be there for you when you need them - even after you make your decision. Long after move-in day, we’ll still be there with regular check-ins to ensure your loved one’s needs are being met.

Spotlight On Donald Lewinski, III, Esq./MBA

Years In Area:

After growing up in Western New York and then moving to Pittsburgh for 13 years, he and Julie recognized the value that the Western New York area brings to raise a family and the opportunity to be around family and friends.

Knowledge of the Area:

Don was born and raised in Western New York, and he has lived and worked throughout the region. As an attorney, the regulations and laws impacting seniors in New York State change every year, and Don prides himself on being able to provide guidance and support to seniors and their loved ones to navigate the daily challenges impacting seniors, including evaluating the potential communities where seniors may choose to live. Together with his wife Julie, they raise their young family in the region and look forward to their kids enjoying all of the great things that Western New York has to offer.

About Donald:

Don has worked as an attorney in both small and large law firms, and as in-house attorney in a variety of corporate legal departments, including both public and private companies, in both Pennsylvania and New York. In these various roles, Don focused on commercial litigation, estate planning, real estate, employment and compliance matters. Even though his professional career took him on a largely corporate path, Don learned the value of small businesses and supporting “local” by growing up and working in a family restaurant from the time he was 11 years old until he went to law school. Long before becoming an attorney, Don started playing the drums when he was 8 years old, was in his first band when he was in middle school, and continues to play to this day in a local cover band. When not trying to follow his rock star dreams, Don also enjoys coaching his kids in local youth sports.

Before CarePatrol:

Prior to CarePatrol, Don had been practicing law in both Pennsylvania and New York.

Best Traits:

Don would describe himself as personable, organized, and detail-oriented.
