Choosing a safer senior housing option, unfortunately, cannot be made by appearance alone. What is most important is something that really can’t be seen. It is "Can this community really care for your senior?" That's why CarePatrol's advisors complete a "Care Discovery" and base our recommendations on care options that can specifically meet your individual needs and preferences.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
We believe in private & personalized tours. We literally walk you through the steps. You will never get a list from us and be told to “go visit them alone, or on your own.” After we’ve matched your individualized needs to safer care options in your area, we will accompany you on a tour of each one of them. Or, we will provide a virtual tour if that works better for you. You are never alone because we will be your personal care guide from start to finish.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
We insist on transparency with pricing & services. We don’t like surprises either. How to pay for care is always a concern and a valid question of our clients. Another important question relates to what services are provided in a specific care option. We can help alleviate these concerns. We will inform you of private, Veterans, or other government programs that you may be eligible for.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor

Eric considers himself passionate about empowering seniors and their families to navigate the oftentimes challenging process of finding the best possible senior living scenarios. He listens carefully to all of his client's needs, concerns and preferences before recommending appropriate levels of care such as Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care or In-Home Care. Years ago, Eric went through the same challenges finding care for his parents in Chicago that he assists families with today. This experience has given him the passion and understanding that he has to help families navigate the senior living process.
The greatest thing about living in Chicago is that it combines a big city urban feel with Midwestern charm.
Eric has been happily married for over 25 years and has three amazing children. As a family, they have learned to navigate his wife's chronic illness to assure that she has independence and is surrounded by love. He enjoys photography, outdoors, and being an entrepreneur.
Prior to CarePatrol, Eric had a career in advertising and marketing, specializing in senior living, for over 30 years.
Eric would describe himself as Compassionate, Reliable and Determined.

When Eric helps families, he feels fulfilled and blessed that he has made a difference in the life of a senior.
When Gwen reached out to my CarePatrol office, she needed help with her parents. She was an accomplished attorney, mother of 3, soccer coach, wife, and all around strong and established woman. She told me that managing criminal trials, screaming soccer parents, and a police officer husband had nothing on dealing with her dad’s dementia.Read More
Aging and finding appropriate care in today’s environment can be complicated. When I spend time with seniors, helping them navigate the senior living process, they often benefit from my valuable insight into the care and conditions at various assisted living and memory care communities in our area. As I learn about their care needs, finances and social concerns, I often learn more life lessons from them than they learn from me. One weekend, I spent time with a gentleman named Karl. He gave me some gems that are very insightful into the aging process:Read More
