Kristine found her ultimate calling in helping seniors and their families as they face the complex challenge of finding the right senior living community. She carefully assesses the client's needs, concerns and preferences before recommending appropriate levels of care such as; Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care or In-Home Care. Kristine went through the same daunting experience recently when she helped find care for a family member in Appleton, WI. This experience gave her the passion to help families.
Born and raised in Appleton, she is proud to call the Fox Cities her home. Having worked and traveled in Wisconsin as a freelance interpreter, she knows the area and facilities like the back of her hand!
The best education is experience. Having lost a mother to vascular dementia and a mother-in-law to Alzheimer's, Kristine has experienced first hand what it's like to navigate the often overwhelming journey of care-giving and finding long-term care. In her free time, Kristine enjoys cycling, teaching strength training to seniors, experiencing the grandeur of nature, traveling, and spending time with her husband discovering new craft beers.
Prior to CarePatrol, Kristine had a career as a Medical, Community and Educational Sign Language Interpreter for over 16 years.
Kristine would describe herself as resourceful, passionate and honest.
No favorites - usually something independent.
When Kristine helps families she feels joy and a sense of purposefulness.
