Ed, of Care Patrol Polk-Brandon, was a godsend in guiding me to find a safe assisted living arrangement for a family member in relatively short order. My cousin’s health and circumstances required a move to assisted living, but she had no family or friends locally who could help her. I was willing to help but live many states away in Maryland. I didn’t know enough about the area where she lives to begin to find acceptable facilities that may be available to her. From my first telephone conversation with Ed, I felt instantly comfortable and confident that we’d find a good path forward. Before I got to town, Ed met with my cousin locally and talked with me on the phone from Maryland. He listened, took her needs into account, and scheduled us to meet admin staff and take tours of five local assisted living facilities once I got to town. He knew the facility and staff personally everywhere we visited and helped us to digest the flood of information we collected as we went along. The upshot of our work with Ed is that my cousin has moved to a new home in assisted living and is not only doing well but thriving. I attribute our success to Ed and his vast network of personnel and knowledge of medical systems throughout the area. I truly don’t know how I would have managed to find an acceptable assisted living arrangement in short order without his expertise and professional help. I too am grateful for the care and compassion he demonstrated as we navigated our way through this journey. My sincere thanks to Ed and Care Patrol!

Care Patrol came to my aid immediately in an emergency situation. Marty provided comfort, expert information the evening of October 19. and went to work the next morning contacting assisted living/memory care units for us to meet directors and tour the following Monday. She set up nurses from 2 facilities I selected to visit my sister in the hospital for evaluation. She remained in phone and text contact with me through the process. When I selected one facility she contacted director. And I went and signed the contract.
Marty is a true professional and a caring person. She was supportive and encouraging throughout the process. She is an expert in her field. I highly recommend Care Patrol of Polk-Brandon to anyone who needs to place a family member in a facility.
