Eric Sailor has had a passion for helping the elderly ever since he was a young boy. When he was younger his parents used to take him to nursing homes with their church to sing with the residents, and he can remember seeing them light up when he came into the room - something so simple but it meant so much to them. Later, he would experience how helpful CarePatrol was when his own grandmother needed help, along with his family in determining what was the next step for Grandma as she was no longer safe in her home. He experienced first-hand how CarePatrol was able to walk them through the process of finding an appropriate senior community as well as also explaining the finances and long-term care planning that would be important down the road.
In 2018 Eric left his 9-year career in the financial industry as a Sales Manager and joined CarePatrol of Northeast Ohio as a Certified Senior Advisor. He loves every minute of educating and assisting families in knowing their care options for their loved one. He is able to help with the stress, emotions and overwhelming options that come with having to transition someone out of their home into a caring community. Eric excels at his knowledge of senior communities in and around the Cleveland Ohio area, as well as resources that are available to his seniors, like VA benefits, community services for seniors and additional referral sources such as Elder Law Attorneys and Senior Realtors.
Eric especially enjoys getting to know the families and the senior and ensures that the senior community is appropriate for the care needs, their hobbies/likes, and financially. Eric works tirelessly to ensure the senior is in a community that they can afford now, but also years down the road as they age.
