Choosing a safer senior housing option, unfortunately, cannot be made by appearance alone. What is most important is something that really can’t be seen. It is "Can this community really care for your senior?" That's why CarePatrol's advisors complete a "Care Discovery" and base our recommendations on care options that can specifically meet your individual needs and preferences.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
We believe in private & personalized tours. We literally walk you through the steps. You will never get a list from us and be told to “go visit them alone, or on your own.” After we’ve matched your individualized needs to safer care options in your area, we will accompany you on a tour of each one of them. Or, we will provide a virtual tour if that works better for you. You are never alone because we will be your personal care guide from start to finish.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
We insist on transparency with pricing & services. We don’t like surprises either. How to pay for care is always a concern and a valid question of our clients. Another important question relates to what services are provided in a specific care option. We can help alleviate these concerns. We will inform you of private, Veterans, or other government programs that you may be eligible for.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
We work with the community so you can focus on your loved one. Leave the administrative work to us. Change can be hard, especially for Seniors. We make sure everything is in order so on moving day, everybody’s attention can be on making the transition as smooth as possible. Ensuring your questions are answered and you continue to feel good about your decision is as important as getting your senior settled in to a new environment.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
Personalized support that is really personalized. How can you trust an advisor with quotas? A Senior Advisor with "quotas" is something that you will never find at CarePatrol. The only “quota” we demand is satisfied families. Your advisor will be there for you when you need them - even after you make your decision. Long after move-in day, we’ll still be there with regular check-ins to ensure your loved one’s needs are being met.Meet Your Local CarePatrol Senior Advisor
Sue is focused on serving seniors and their families as they face the complex challenge of finding the right senior living community. She listens carefully to all of her client's needs, concerns and preferences before recommending appropriate levels of care such as Independent Living, Assisted Senior Housing, Memory Care or In-Home Care.
Sue moved from the East Coast to the West Coast in 2010 because of the weather and relaxed lifestyle. When she is not working, Sue enjoys outdoor activities such as tennis and golf and the mix of big city and country lifestyle e.g trips to wine country.
Sue lives with her boyfriend Bob in their lovely condo in Belmont. This is in the heart of her territory, so she has easy access to her referral partners and clients. When she is not working, she enjoys golf, visiting wine country and yoga. She participates in meetings with the San Mateo & San Carlos Chamber of Commerce, BNI and the local Senior Round Table meetings where she spreads the word about CarePatrol and better senior care and the importance of it in her community. Sue's father has Parkinson's and Dementia and lives in Canada. Sue helped get her dad placed in a memory care community last year. This involved several trips up to Canada and working closely with Sue's mother and aunt as well as local authorities to make this happen. Sue knows what it is like to be a family caregiver - from afar!
Prior to CarePatrol, Sue had a career in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Sales for over 20 years. She holds a Masters in Pharmaceutical Marketing and a Diploma in Hotel Management. She worked at WebMD for 12 years where she developed online educational programs for physicians and patients. She also spent 4 years in Paris working with a Canadian Consulting company also in pharmaceutical marketing and sales - fax and digital marketing programs.
Sue would describe herself as calm, patient, passionate, enthusiastic and thorough.

When Sue helps families, she feels gratified to be able to help people at a critical time of need. Her experience helping her father made her realize how families can benefit by having an advocate to help them navigate the placement process. Sue is there to tour her clients to communities and homes and also follows up after move in to be sure all is going as planned. She knows all 200 of her care homes and communities (owners, administrators, residents and caregivers) from Daly City to Redwood City.
