CarePatrol Questions and Answers

By CarePatrol

Who are your Clients?

We refer to individuals who use our service as clients. We are a professional service, and our clients are referred to us by medical professionals, social and religious groups and clubs, families, and current clients.

Our clients may want to move into a community that allows them to maintain their independence, with additional assistance if they need it. Due to medical necessity, they may also require assistance with activities of daily living.

Some of our clients do not realize they need help or extra care. This is especially true for clients who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. In those cases, we often act as advocates for their welfare.

What value does CarePatrol bring to the community?

Though the average lifespan has increased, medicine and science have still not discovered the fountain of youth. Aging still takes a significant toll on the body, and assistance is often required.

Many older adults or their families recognize their needs, but some do not.

CarePatrol certainly provides assistance in imminent situations but also can be used as an efficient and organized planning tool to age successfully. Though the process can be daunting, overwhelming, and time-consuming, it’s important to know you don’t have to do it alone.

CarePatrol also teaches you about aging. We provide education and planning seminars to let families know the What’s, When’s, Where’s, Why’s and How’s, when it comes to independent living, assisted living, and memory care support. Knowledge truly is power. You may never need our service, but it’s great to know you have someone to help if you do.

CarePatrol will only refer clients to communities after a member of the team completes a review of each community. Our team members with specialized background and training complete a preview visit and identify cleanliness, staffing rations, potential safety hazards, and review the state survey.

We also follow-up with clients after successfully placing them within a community. We always check to ensure our clients are satisfied with their new home. If there is a problem, we will do our best to resolve it or help them find an alternative solution.

How much does your service cost?

CarePatrol is a FREE community service and has been for over twenty-five years. We are very similar to Realtors since we are paid by the community or residence that our client chooses.

Will the communities increase their prices if clients work with a service like CarePatrol?

CarePatrol is a service largely appreciated by communities. Despite being advocates for our clients, we match appropriate clients with their community and in doing so bring them business. However, we only suggest communities that fit our clients’ medical, social and financial needs.

Sometimes, communities are willing to negotiate the fees, and CarePatrol can actually help the client negotiate for savings.

What else should people know about CarePatrol?

CarePatrol works with a complete team of professionals so we can refer your family and make some of your challenges a little easier. From Elder Law attorneys and financial planners to moving companies and Realtors, to hospices and home care services, we can connect you to the right people at the right time.

What is your favorite thing about your work with CarePatrol?
